Thông Tin cơ bản
Fybra is an award-winning Italian start-up, owner of two international patents, that focuses on monitoring and improving indoor air quality by exploiting natural and mechanical ventilation.Born in 2021 from a management buyout (managers exited the company by founding their own company) from a multinational corporation, Fybra's solution uses an advanced sensor system and predictive and adaptive algorithms to monitor carbon dioxide levels, temperature, humidity and volatile organic compounds in the environment. It does this via an IoT device (i.e., connected to the Internet) equipped with innovative sensors and a visual alert system that warns the user when to open and then exactly when to close the windows, on the one hand to disperse viruses, bacteria and polluting microorganisms in the room, and on the other to avoid wasting energy, ensuring maximum comfort and energy efficiency. The device is available in three versions: Fybra Home, designed for the home; Fybra for schools, ideal for school environments; Fybra for companies, the version that is suitable for executive and commercial buildingsThe solutions proposed by the Milan-based company go as far as automation and control systems for ventilation machines to maximise health and consumption efficiency. The machine learning system used by Fybra not only collects data (which can be consulted at any time on the dedicated app, available on smartphones or tablets), but also analyses and compares them continuously, feeding a database that now has more than 70,000 users and analyses more than 2 million data points per day. The company is based in Milan and is led by Gaetano Lapenta (CEO) and Marco Scaramelli (CTO).During its first two years of activity, Fybra has obtained several important awards: it won the Italian selection of the CleanTech Challenge, organised by the School of Management of the Milan Polytechnic (MIP) and was a finalist in the CleanTech Challenge London Chapter, at the London Business School (LBS), a competition among the most innovative cleantech technologies. Also in 2020, it won the fifth edition of the Klimahouse Future Hub Award, an international benchmark event for start-ups in the green sector hosted within the Klimahouse trade fair in Bolzano. On the same occasion, it also won the CasaClima special prize, awarded by the prestigious South Tyrol Energy Agency. In 2021 Fybra won the premo prize in the Innovation category of the Klimahouse fair, while in 2022 two new prestigious recognitions arrived: the first from the Financial Times, with the awarding of the Global Changemaker Award at the Responsible Business Education Awards, and the second for the Product category of the iF Design Award assigned in Munich, Germany
